SACRED ECOLOGY ECO-SANGA

The Sacred Ecology Eco-Sanga’s are monthly gatherings where we discuss current environmental issues through the lenses of Bhakti-yoga’s teachings. We will explore how the practice of Bhakti inherently encourages environmental consciousness. Discussions will lead to practical engagement, where we look at what we can do to become actively involved in making a greener, more spiritually conscious world. Elements of the discussion will include studying Bhakti literature related to environmental consciousness, as well as current news items, multimedia pieces, and/or prominent issues within local and global environmental movements.

Each Eco-Sanga gathering will also aim to encourage our community to understand, participate in, and take ownership of Green initiatives at the the Bhakti Center, throughout New York City, and in our own personal lives.

Join us to help create and inspire a regular community who will learn how to practice Eco-Bhakti seva in their own lives and for the broader community.
